schools and youth groups

ACS Martial Arts and Smart ClubZ offer school club and taster sessions. Registered with team BEDS&LUTON we have an active relationship with home counties based School Sports Coordinators.

We can offer classes tailored to particular year-groups, GCSE study groups or formulate a unique syllabus tailored towards a schools individual needs with recognition supplied by certification for participants and, although we don't encourage it, we can also deliver sessions to segregated boys and girls groups.

ACS Martial Arts can now also offer, non-contact boxing sessions through ACS Boxing Tutor and ACS KEWAP knife awareness and avoidance courses to schools and clubs.

To date ACS Martial Arts have provided sessions for the following schools, colleges and organisations:

  • Luton 6th form college - jujitsu demo and have a go session
  • Hightown Recreation Centre - martial arts and boxing activity day
  • Bramingham Primary School - after school jujitsu club
  • Henlow Middle School - sports activity day
  • Russell Lower School Ampthill - sports activity day
  • Holywell Middle School Cranfield - sports activity day
  • Sacred Heart Infant School - Smart ClubZ

  • Vandyke School Girl Guides - session to support ‘confidence’ theme
  • Somaries Infant School Luton - parents self-defence course
  • Roundwood Park School Harpenden - give it a go day
  • Somaries Infant School Luton - Smart Clubz

These school based initiatives are a great way of developing out of school activities as well as giving local sports coaches a chance to demonstrate their sport while giving pupils the opportunity to experience a sporting activity they may never have had the opportunity to try.

ACS Martial Arts coaches have enhanced CRB certification including first aid and child protection qualifications.
